Hyde Lane

Thanks to a grant from WREN helped with funding from AVCC we have been able to edge the footpath. This work has been approved by BBOWT and we are now working to level it using soil from the old canal. This will then be seeded with specialist woodland flower mix grass seed in the spring that can be walked on.

At the same time, we have been building two bunds (dams) ready to enable us to re-water this section and provide additional pond environments for the wildlife including water voles and dragon flies.
