The Buckingham Navigator – Issue 112 Summer 2022

We are pleased to inform you that The Buckingham Navigator – Issue 112 Summer 2022 is now available to view or download from the newsletter page.

As well as our regular features, this issue also includes:

  • Clear your diaries for the big event of ‘our’ year, as the Cosgrove Canal Festival & Craft Fair returns for the 27th year after a three year break. No excuses…come along for a hugely entertaining and fun day or weekend out! I’ve detailed everything you need to know.
  • Restoration of the sluice near Bridge No.2 is now finally complete, as Terry Cavender explains.
  • Athina Beckett tells us how the recent unprecedented storm damage has continued to hamper progress across the Ouse Vally Way through the winter and spring.
  • Workboat ‘Perseverance II’ (aka Percy) joins the ever expanding fleet, after arriving at the end of March for a full inspection and overhaul before being put to work. Terry Cavender brings us up to date.
  • Becky Hall discusses how she has thrown herself into her community engagement role with rock hunts, poetry, climate change meetings and working with students, to name but a few.
