The Buckingham Navigator – Issue 102 Winter 2019

We are pleased to inform you that The Buckingham Navigator – Issue 102 Winter 2019 is now available to view or download from the newsletter page.

As well as our regular features, this issue also includes:

  • The summer’s hard work on Bridge No.1 is described chronologically through 23 photographs, whilst Terry explains the work that is yet to come over the coming winter and spring months.
  • I talk about this summer’s flourishing wildlife and the successful breeding records at Bourton Meadow.
  • Guest writer Fabian Hiscock from Rickmansworth Waterways Trust gives us a fascinating insight into the history of working boat Roger, a visitor to this year’s BCS Cosgrove Canal Festival & Craft Fair.
  • Terry announces the acquisition of our very own working boat, known as WB: Louise.
  • We warmly welcome our new Community Engagement Worker, Aimee Tidman.
