The Buckingham Navigator – Issue 114 Winter 2022

We are pleased to inform you that The Buckingham Navigator – Issue 114 Winter 2022 is now available to view or download from the newsletter page.

As well as our regular features, this issue also includes:

  • Terry Cavender announces the acquisition of our third dredger, namely ‘Diana’.
  • Athina Beckett gets out and about on a five mile guided walk for the national Heritage Open Days event.
  • Next year’s Cosgrove Canal Festival & Craft Fair is announced.
  • Athina Beckett has her well deserved day in the limelight at the Buckingham Canal Open Day as she is honoured with a mosaic and plaque, funded by her recent Inland Waterways Association’s Christopher Power Award.
  • I report on the biodiversity at Bourton Meadow that continues to grow with yet another new and nationally scarce species recorded along the canal!
