The Buckingham Navigator – Issue 108 Summer 2021

We are pleased to inform you that The Buckingham Navigator – Issue 108 Summer 2021 is now available to view or download from the newsletter page.

As well as our regular features, this issue also includes:

  • Now much of the work is now complete at Bridge No.1, Terry talks about what’s next, including the preliminary plans for Bridge No.2.
  • Paul illustrates his plans for a new footbridge at the Buckingham Canal Nature Reserve at Hyde Lane.
  • Whilst Bourton Meadow looks to spring into life for another bumper breeding season, I give an insight into two of its very special and iconic feathered winter visitors.
  • Amanda invites willing participants to join her and her team as they embark on a series of exciting exploratory archaeological digs from Bridge No.2 and beyond.
  • Fancy naming our Otter sculpture for us in a new Buckingham Otter Trail? Jo explains all, including the commissioning of local artist Zoe Day to paint our sponsored Otter for us.
