The Building Futures Programme is a dynamic partnership focused on changing the lives of disadvantaged adults and young people across Buckinghamshire. It is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund. The participating organisations will work with people who have been out of work for a long time and may feel they have few opportunities of returning to work. Over the lifetime of the project, the aim is to support at least 400 people in Buckinghamshire back into employment, job seeking or education and training.

Building Futures will include delivery via an outreach service to more rural areas. Its priority groups include those who are long-term unemployed, disengaged young people not in education, employment or training, black and minority ethnic groups and those with learning disabilities or long-term physical or mental health issues.
