2017 Annual Cosgrove Canal Festival & Craft Fair

Don’t miss the 24th annual Cosgrove Canal Festival & Craft Fair, presented by the Buckingham Canal Society on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of July.

The event is run each year by the Society to raise money for the restoration of the Buckingham Canal between Cosgrove and Buckingham and to spread the word about our work. Members from the Society will be there for you to chat to about their plans for the canal and you can discover which sections of it will be in water soon.

Throughout the whole festival weekend you will find many historic and trade boats, craft and games stalls, plenty of entertainment and refreshments, and so much more. The event will be full of fun for the whole family and is set primarily alongside the picturesque towpath between the lock at Cosgrove and the recently refurbished Iron Trunk Aqueduct. The Craft Fair, in it’s 4th year, will be in the nearby Cosgrove Village Hall, only a short walk from the canal.
