Don’t miss the 23rd annual Cosgrove Canal Festival & Craft Fair, presented by the Buckingham Canal Society on the weekend of the 16th and 17th of July.
The event is run each year by the Society to raise money for the restoration of the Buckingham Canal between Cosgrove and Buckingham and to spread the word about our work. Members from the Society will be there for you to chat to about their plans for the canal and you can discover which sections of it will be in water soon.
Throughout the whole festival weekend you will find many historic and trade boats, craft and games stalls, plenty of entertainment and refreshments, and so much more. The event will be full of fun for the whole family and is set primarily alongside the picturesque towpath between the lock at Cosgrove and the recently refurbished Iron Trunk Aqueduct. The Craft Fair, in it’s 3rd year, will be in the nearby Cosgrove Village Hall, only a short walk from the canal.
The 2015 event was held over the weekend of the 11th-12th July. Not only were we able to hold a Craft Fair in addition to hosting the ever popular attractions by Cosgrove Lock, but we also teamed up for the first time with Cosgrove Village to run a combined event with the Cosgrove Feast!
