https://www.buckinghamcanal.org.uk/events-and-news/newsletter/

As well as our regular features, this issue also includes:

  • Our new Chairman Rob Morris continues with Jim Mcilroy’s seasonal round-up, with the Autumn Statement being Rob’s first seasonal musings since Jim had to sadly step down as Trustee and Archivist last year.
  • Terry Cavender, Dave Humphreys and our team of diligent photographers illustrate in detail the work produced by our hard working volunteers in the short space of just TWO months leading up to B Day (Beams, Bridge & Buckingham) – the day when the steel beams were finally laid across Bridge No.1 to join both abutments once again.
  • Athina Beckett describes how her informative walks & talks are gaining more and more momentum.
  • Friends of Raymond (FoR) Patron Tim Coghlan provides a fascinating insight into the work of an FoR restoration volunteer and his mentor.
  • Grants Officer Colin Levett rounds up the year’s amazing funding with an account of all of 2018’s successful applications.
