Second employee now on board

We are pleased to confirm that Imogen Jackson has now joined us as our second support worker.

Imogen has lived on a narrowboat on and off for nearly 30 years, cruising the country’s waterways. She has previously volunteered as work party leader for the BTCV and for the Buckingham canal society, thoroughly enjoying conservation work.

In more recent years she has been working within mental health, working for Mind BLMK and latterly for the NHS in a horticultural setting in Leicester.

From September 2017 she will be studying an MSc in horticultural therapy, combining her love of outdoor conservation and gardening and her interest in wellbeing for all. Imogen is very excited to be re-joining the BCS team.

Both of our support workers, Mark and Imogen, are now being funded by the Building Futures funding.
